Reading the logs
Section titled “Reading the logs”The Output Log category is LogPresentationCapture. These lines tell you what happened at the end of a recording:
| Log line | Meaning |
|---|---|
AUDIO_DONE | Audio was written successfully. |
ENCODER_FAILURE | The video encoder failed. The open segment is finalized where possible. |
VIDEO_FAILURE | The video path for a seat failed. |
AUDIO_FAILURE | Audio could not be written. |
AUDIO_REJECT | Audio data was rejected, for example from the wrong device or format. |
FINALIZE_FAILURE | The recording could not be finalized cleanly. Check manifest.partial.json. |
DISPATCH_FAILURE | Work could not be handed to the encoder. |
If you see a failure line, set PresentationCapture.Record.EncoderDiagnostics 1, record again, and send the log and manifest to support.
